Ray A. Ghaner is a former partner in the law firm of Gill, McManamon & Ghaner located at 200 Penn Street, Huntingdon. Originally a native of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, Ghaner first came to Huntingdon to attend Juniata College. While at Juniata, Ghaner was a 4-year starter and All-Conference standout on the Juniata College Football Team. After college, Ghaner attended Penn State University – Dickinson School of Law where he was a member of the Penn State Environmental Law Review.
Judge Ghaner has practiced for more than 20 years in Huntingdon, where he has assisted clients in all types of legal matters. He has extensive experience in litigation, estates, guardianships, juvenile law, criminal law, elder law, real estate, and many others.
After practicing law with a mid-sized Central Pennsylvania firm and a large Philadelphia-based firm, Judge Ghaner opened his own private practice in 2008. In 2013, Judge Ghaner joined Scot Gill and Peter McManamon as a partner in the firm, Gill, McManamon & Ghaner.
Judge Ghaner has a license to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as the Federal Courts for Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
Judge Ghaner is a past-President of the Huntingdon County Bar Association and was the Treasurer of the Bar Association, until recently.
Judge Ghaner was sworn in as Judge in Huntingdon County on February 14, 2025 and serves and the 9th sworn judge in Huntingdon County.
